Bailey's dance recital was a huge success.  Here are a few photos from her special day.

Yosemite 2012

This past weekend we had our annual trip to Yosemite.  We had beautiful weather this year and lots of fun.  We went on a 14 mile bike ride with the kids, and on Saturday I hiked a gorgeous 10 mile hike, while Colby stayed back with the kids.

Bailey's Kindergarten Open House

 Bailey had her first ever open house last night. She was beaming all day, super excited to show her family all that she's been up to this year.  Kindergarten was my favorite grade to teach, I loved seeing the growth of the students from the first day they walked through those doors to the last.  Bailey has made such growth this year, and it has been so much fun to watch as a parent.  We are so proud of what a strong, independent, loving little girl she has become.

Bailey's First Field Trip

Bailey had her "first ever" field trip to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands.  When Bailey first hear about their trip, she actually asked me not to go, since she wanted to do this on her own.  After a few minutes, she then decided she really wanted me to go along.  About 10 parents asked to go, so they picked out names from a hat and I was one of the 4 who got to go.  We had a great time exploring around the wetlands, that are just 10 minutes from our house.  We even saw a snake on our nature walk, something I could have done without!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was filled with fun and relaxation.  We did some stuff around the house, had lunch outside, and had dinner at our house.  It was just a pleasant day, just what I needed!
